Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be coming. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
